Wayside Waifs Wednesday

Welcome to this week's edition of Wayside Waifs Wednesday, whereby this blogger deviously works on getting the reader to go to the shelter and look at adoptable (and adorable) companion animals--and maybe even take one home!

Look at this dog's funny ears! You really have to see them in person to get the full effect. He's a young dog who has only been available for adoption for a little while. He'll probably be high energy and need some training. So, go meet him already!
Fall kitten season is here! The shelter has several kittens up for adoption, all completely adorable and full of cuteness. The nifty thing is, properly nurtured, they grow up to be beautiful and handsome cats. This little orange dude is about three months old, but there are kittens of every color. Check them all out.
Wayside Waifs is located at 3901 Martha Truman Road in Kansas City. Hours are 2pm-8 pm Wednesday through Friday and 12 pm-6 pm Saturday and Sunday. The shelter is closed on Monday and Tuesday. website: www.waysidewaifs.org .
