My grandfather was 31 years in the Canadian and American Navy, and was a commander. He was a story teller, a man of humor, a cat person and a pack rat. Because of wildly dysfunctional things in my family, he was basically exiled from my family's life until 1989. I hate all the time that was wasted with that exile.
The car's in the sidebar now, too, along with a picture of the dog that belongs to his daughter--my mother.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet Car! I'm gonna show my dad because he gets all drooly over old cars. lol
And I'm glad you got to spend a few years after the exiling with him.
Hoorah Navy!! =)
Dear The Observer,
Absolutely a Fabulous car. And I get what you mean about the exile, too.

Nice car! :)
BTW! Thanx for showing me how to set up my blog list.
To peedee:
I love old cars too! Usually I try to get to one cruise a week, and snap pictures when I'm there.
To Ann T:
My grandmother was not of the soundest mind at times. After their divorce, she did things like cut his image out of all the family photos. I have a bunch of photos of my mom and grandmom, with half the picture missing! For the longest time, I had no idea what he even looked like. Just amazing and a little silly in retrospect.
Rush'ed Lady:
Why you are so welcome and I am glad to be of service! I hope you keep on blogging despite the changes coming--it's still a lot of fun :-)
The Observer (who really wishes the car could have stayed in the family...)
