Bob G: I should have made my itinerary more clear. And added one item.
First the visiting, that extended to tea time. Then, there was going to the Johnson County Library Used Book sale. Then there was car cruisin'.
Not to say that folks who study the Bible might not have a collector or muscle car or folks with cars study the Bible, but in this case it was two different groups of folks.
Now, as to the car in the photo: It is a hand built car, with a little of this and a little of that. That's why it looks a little familiar and a little not. It is all cool tho.
Observations, Opinions, and Whatnot from the South Part of Town
What's this blog like?
Well, this blog is like...sitting around the kitchen table with friends and family...like a game of Rook with friends...sitting on the porch or deck or driveway with friends and neighbors...come on grab a drink and have a seat! You're in Ruskin Heights, or Terrace Lake Gardens or Stratford Estates for example. We might talk about anything--the new people moving in down the street, the economy, the Chiefs, crime, the mayor, health care, national new, world news, religion, cars, politics...careful now! Wide ranging, opinionated, but always respectful. In the end, we are all neighbors.

How much to reveal? There are some nutty people out there! Leave it to say right now that I am well educated, a person of the Christian faith, and never without an opinion.

I know that's a Mopar on the left, but what on God's green earth is that roadster on the RIGHT?
That is one magnificent automobile.
ANd I confess I've never seen one like it anywhere (and have I seen my share of all kinds of cars in 57 years)
It looks to be a mid-late 1930's vintage, and has to be domestic (left-hand steering).
It's too low-slung to be an Auburn or a Duesenberg.
Sure is a honey, though.
You Bible group hangs with some great people (and their cars).

Dear The Observer,
It's good to get out and just BE sometimes.
Hope it was way fun. A used book sale sounds just my speed, I know that!
