What a news week we just had--an amazing new chapter written in the story of FUBAR that is the Kansas City Mo school district, a much hyped storm that rained more than anything, a surprise eastern earthquake and more.
I have to say that the thing that has dismayed me more than anything is the apparent incompetence of our government. Individually, the people at City Hall or in Washington, DC might be smart and able but when they get together it seems they can't find their way out of a paper bag.
Just a few thoughts early on a Monday morning.

Is that a WET paper bag...or a DRY one?
I think our generation was the last one that could be considered competent enough FOR government...
All these newbies seem to be the sum of their (lack of) parts.
Just a thought.
Stay safe out there.

I am not sure when the divide is. One has to be careful of the tendency for each generation to think the next is going straight to Hell.
I think it started with those born in 1955 and after, and their kids...spoken as one born just a few years after 1955.
Our kids are no use at all(those born 1980-85 or so)! LOL!
The pols can't find their way out of a paper bag even if you spot them the opening. :-/
Thanks for coming by this fine monday and have a great week.
